Progress Update, Week of August 23, 2021

During the week of August 23 the Gowanus Remediation Team continued pipe pile operations at the Carroll Street bridge. Pipe piles are being installed to create bulkheads that will support the bridge abutments during future phases of dredging.

Installed pipe piles are being waterproofed and filled with sand to prevent debris infiltration and cut to an appropriate height as needed.
